All i want is some very simple questions answered and ill be on my way.

Also i when i spool the turbo it has a constant loud whistle and it feels as if im developing little or no boost at all, but when i shift the compressor surge so loud it sounds like i was hitting 5grand. im pretty positive its a bad WGA diaphram since when i messed around with the wastegate the symptoms i just stated went away and all was normal again. But after a slightly hard pull from second it all came back. i just want to know if this sounds like a boost leak or overboost from a sticking WG (dont want to blow anything up)

ok before i get to doing anything i need to replace all my factory vacuum lines, anyone have some helpfull tips for removing them since they are all glued/clipped in? i know this may sound like a dumb question but i want advice to be sure. and what is a good source to buy vacuum hoses/clips?

last but not least... anyone know where to get an OEM replacement WGA, or an upgraded version?

I know i made a post before regarding the WGA problem but im more curious on what my symptoms are typical of, and i need to know where to get vacuum lines/clips just to go in and fix anything since i know none of the factory lines are going to come off in one piece (unless theres some special technique lol)

Thanks for any help...

It's only been an hour, give people some time bud. The Wastegate is very simple to test. Run a search and you should turn up hundreds of threads about testing your WG.

atp turbo sells a replacement actuator for around 60 bucks I believe. What mods does the car have? If you have an aftermarket intake and the stock bpv, then the "surge" is no surprise. With a car in good condition, normally the boosting and going nowhere feeling is due to the stock tune. Other factors could play into that though. Like you said, check and change vac lines as needed. Normally you can just pull them off unless they haven't been touched in a long time and probably are stuck on there due to engine bay temps.

Sorry I was a little anxious for a reply ha, so when I replace the vacuum lines should I use some sort of glue/ziptie for the install? And for the WG, I was looking at getting a forge adjustable, is it any good?

Not if you get the correct size.

Not that I have any experience with them personally, but I've not really heard good things about them.
My replacement is an ATP.

Alrighty 3/16in right? I got it from street unit along with an atp WGA. And thanks for the advice
