FD Rims on P5

unless they are made of high quality material(which is highly unlikely), they seem like they would be very prone to cracking.

Heres a side view at the gas station....

So What I did was this.... 5mm spacers to the front. (the wheel weight was rubbing) and two 3mm spacers to the rear. Everything is fine now. When I get home tonight im going to run some tests....lol figure 8's and full cocked turns and what not to see the capabilities.

One thing I know is that when I hit a bump on the freeway the rear drivers side bottoms out. I may have to raise that up a bit.

I don't wanna say fender... Sunds like a plastic guard. I'm going to look again after work

I'm wondering if you're at an advantage because of the coilovers. I imagine it will be harder for guys like me with the strut/spring setup to pull this off.

808: Do you have tint also? If so, what percentage?

think it's 35 or 45 not sure though for the tint.

I'm not too sure how the strut spring set up may work....

Question: I have the full msp spring/strut combo on my P5. If I wanted to run FD's with 225/50/16's, would I need spacers or a fender massage?

3mm spacers are needed to clear the struts, a fender roll in the rear would be strongly recommended if you're running more than a 205 tire.

dude 205 are fine if you want stretch on an 8" wide rim. 225 look perfect. im selling my fd wheels with 225/45 tires. Used 1/2 summer. but the shipping would probably kiil it.

Sorry, got confused. The tires are 225 Star Specs. GREAT deal, but the wheels, spacers, rolling, will add up to be too much. A shame, because the deal is GOOD.

back from the dead!!

had these on since may. reinforced version. 3mm spacers all around, 215/50/16 dunlop direzza dz101. rolled rear fenders flat, lowered on h&r's and illuminas. edge of tread rubs on rear bumper over big dips with a loaded car, never hits the fender. lots of room all around up front.
