ERL MF2 or eManage

So what are are real options?
The Emange I thought even gave you a head ache terry so what chance do the rest of us have.
The Haltech seems to be a well know problematic system.
The Links, from the sound of it will cost more in time and blood pressure medication then its worth.
the J & S didn't save poor linux.
Also I am ready elswhare that the protege stock will insanely rich stock, well beyond the needs of even a turbo in some instances.

For the time being, until someone get something concreat worked out I have turned my boost down to 4 PSI. Between the advanced timing, failing fuel pump and everything else I can't say this car feels safe anymore.

go over to www.sdsefi.com check out their stand alone systems good systems for the money and no laptop needed for tuning. Very easy to tune and install and all the bugs are worked out of them. A full setup for our cars with a turbo would run around 1300 dollars for the entire system....no Terry go get that add some harnesses to it and sell it for your stage 4 :) Oh yeah Keith I will see how well the Haltech E11 performs here in about 2 weeks I am currently installing one with my friend in his 93 FD R1 with a T78 single slapped on with the new V mount IC setup. Shoudl be a wickedly fast car so we will see how well teh E11 handles it.

SDS, DTA, AEM, TEC, Link, Haltech - there's a huge range of engine management systems out there. The thing that is shared among the standalones is that they're going to be difficult to tune. Proper tuning of an engine management computer is quite complicate - WOT is not a big deal, but cold starts, idle, A/C loads, etc can make your life quite difficult. Be prepared for a graduate-level course in how an engine works.
