Enough FMIC piping/couplers?

I meant the local MSP guy must have been on this webiste at some point because he had an Altered Customs kit. Relocating the MAF would leave it not too far from its current location correct?
Gotcha. Maybe. She has her own website too, so he could have found it directly.

physical distance moved would be no more than a few inches... but along the plumbing it would move a few feet.

Really a noob to this turbo setup. Any pictures on the relocating of the MAF? I want to install one too and want to be sure. If its been covered already I will search. Not a noob to seaching.

Before: MAF located on intake (stock in this case)

After: MAF located on cold pipe after BOV. Mine is closer to the BOV than I would ideally perfer, but it is what it is.

MAF should be at least 6" from the TB. Mount the BOV before the MAF. This allows the BOV to purge the air and the MAF only reads whats after the BOV. Installing a BOV after the MAF is what causes problems. The MAF already read that air coming in and if you remove it from the system then stall city.

I think there's a couple of sensors on the plastic pipes? Whats to come of them?
Intake Air temp... I have a hole drilled in the base of my filter and just rammed it in there.

only other connection is the breather. which I just left the hose hooked up. replace it with a filter if you like.

Really i think the IAT should be after the intercooler. since thats two diff temps. Not sure if it matters here on the FS DE setups but it does on the zetecs

ive wondered that myself. ive actually considered running a few temp sensors when i get a real gauge setup/turn the boost up to the point where temps might be worth monitoring, just to see how it changes based on mods and whathaveyou.

stock its in the airbox.. I wonder how much it factors in anyway, so I don't worry much
from what i remember reading somewhere, it provides a linear scaling factor for the fuel map based on temperature, roughly +/- 10%. nothing super rocket-science about that. you could probably just shove it anywhere and not notice a difference.

Wagon is your MAF on backwards in the second picture?

Sorry for the threadjack.
