Engine Noise Help!

2002 Mazda Protege Dx (BLOWN) 2002 Mazda Protege Lx
Haven't really checked it out yet but i've got a 2002 mazda protege 2.0 Dx and it has been making a weird noise when i accelerate. It sounds sort of like a squeaking maybe coming from a pulley or a belt but i am not completely sure. I'll check it out and try to figure out what it is but any advice on the best way to find the problem or what might be causing this sound? Thanks a lot i really appreciate it. I also need my two front wheel bearings replaced anyone know a cheap way to do it? instead of paying like a ridiculous amount?? the parts themselves are $120 for the two front hubs and bearings, and it also costs $100 bucks just to get them pressed then there is the labor which is like $250 but i wanna try and replace them myself but i still have to pay $220 for the parts and pressing any advice?

Well, for the wheel bearings, you can buy a 12-ton shop press from harbor freight for about $100 (depending on what kind of sales/coupons are going on). Along with basic hand tools, that's really all you need to be able to replace them yourself. Just make sure you read up on some of the walk-throughs posted here, because it's not a 100% straightforward job if you have never done them before.

oh okay so its cheaper to just buy a press myself? also someone told me to to just go to tread quaters and just go to the back and get a guy to press them really quick and just give them a 20 dollar tip cuz that'll be cheaper than anything haha and thanks i'll look it up
