Elemental have cought on as of late but they have yet to really prove them selves in competition. I think there inexpensive internet price has really help that out.
I think you will find most people on the board run JL or another well established brand.

1st NH MP3 you have a blue Protege MP3 with a turbo correct...I have talked to you at work before I believe...If this is you, I decided to go with the JL XR's in front, VR's in rear, JL 400/4 for the amp, (2) JL12w3's, and a JL 500/1 for the subs. I am thinking of changing the JL subs to elemental designs in the near future....I will come by so you can hear them when I do

Did you mean the 300/4 or the 450/4?
Both are badass amps, I am not certian of the 450/4s availability though.
You might have better luck going to www.carsound.com and doing some searches in there forums on elemental. Should be alot of info.

every audio forum online will answer any woofer question with brahma or elementals.

personally, they look ghetto, and i havent heard of any non online audio forum person using them. so im going with a mainstream brand

i meant the 300/4 sorry...I already have everything...I did the install myself and it sounds great...I'll stop by tweet when I get everything finished...I ended up getting everything off E-bay...XR's $170, VR's $120, 300/4 $290, (3) 12w3's $250, the 500/1 for $230, and (2) 300/2's for $225 Each....I'm selling off the 2 300/2's right now on E-bay...i loke the 300/4 better for my interiors

Since you have one, why not use the 300/2 for the Front XRs and run the 300/4 for the rears and ambiant tweeters or even a small 8" or 6"sub up front.
Just an idea but one I was considering also.

I am using an Elemental E12KD4 in a custom enclosure running off a JBL 600.1 and it sounds excellent. I have it in a ~1c.f. enclosure running it at 2ohms. Highly recommended. Compared to the price of more marketable name brands (Eclipse, JL, Alpine, etc.) I believe this woofer will meet or beat most of what the competition has to offer in this price range. You will not be disappointed.

woop woop... i've been familiar with elemental for a helluva long time. one of the first groups that started using elemental designs was the corolla group on www.vvti.net. i've been a member of that group for a long time. these subs are GODLIKE. i'de put them over the JL w3, kicker solo baric L5 and maybe even the L7. they EAT UP power. the new 8a subs are gonna kickass as well. the sp series is just insane, period. for EXCELLENT sound quality run the k series in a seal box at about 1.0 cf. for some spl action go with the 12 or 15 k series in a ported box at about 2.0 cf. or just be all crazy and go 15" sp series (only sub in the series). the nine.1 amp will be one kickass amp. no contest. eDead is some of the best sound deadening out there. they are gonna be releasing some component systems later this year, so look for those. nothing in the same price range can touch these mothers!!!!!!!!!!! HIGH excursion, HIGH sound quality, HIGH spl, damn its all you need. i'm gonna put these into my future MSP. a couple of e12kd2 or if i wanna go extreamly space saving, some e8a, notice i said some, as in more than 3 or maybe even more than 4. the absolute best bang for your buck!!! (sry if i sound like a commercial)
