Has anyone experienced this code on their Mazda3? There's little info on it available online but it could mean the SSV Solenoid is faulty, but dealer wants to charge me a couple of hours labor to troubleshoot.
Thanks concept for the link. I didn't see that webpage you have the link to, but I saw what appears to be excerpts from it on the Mazda RX forum. That was the closest I could get to the Mazda3.
I am thinking of going back to the dealer and having them replace the SSV solenoid, apparently is seems to be the one most likely with the Bank 1 fault code or should I wait until it gets worse. Your thoughts?
Google, I would tell the mechanic to examine the connector and wiring before running a quick check of the solenoid. The Factory service manual most likely has a resistance checking step to verify if the solenoid is actually bad.
