Door Handle lights

Where did you get them, how much, and can you choose which color LEDs you want? I would think white would be the coolest on my black car, but I guess everyone has their own color preferences.

i purchased through: Van Horn Tint & Accessories
https://secure-checkout35.monstercommerce.com/2558516968/index.asp

products = awesome
cost = $25.00 for set of 4
colors = completely up to u (even rainbow style ($40))

and yes i think white would look sick on a black car.

im gonna start working on a write up and ill add in the pics when i can and once its all nice and fancy ill post it up.

i think it would be cool if they slowly faded in and out.

yea, sometimes i can be a ricer too.

not sure if u meant that they fade in and out copying the way the dome light does, which they do, or if u meant that they fade in and out in a pulsating style while on

just a two op-amps and some transistors; im thinking about doing it now

sounds awesome, i just finished wiring up my interior sounds activated lights...now i just need some darkness to test em out, i alos managed to fix the one door that need some tweaking to allow more light to shine on the cup area under the handle...just need my damn camera so i can take some pics of the install on the passenger side handles

ok the write up is done at this point, but im not gonna post it until i get the pics to add in. hopefully by this coming week all will be set and posted

im guessing u would probably need some kind of interface or controller to achieve that affect??

What wire goes to the dome light? I have neons under my dash that are on a switch. I would rather have them turn on with the dome light.

Thanks.

I can't wait to see pictures of your install when its done.

just couldnt wait for the write up, hahahaha...jk. the power wire is blue w/ a red stripe, the ground wire is yellow with a red stripe. another easy way is to unplug the connector that comes from the dome light assembly and take a test light and stick it into the connector. whichever side lights up is the power side and the opposite is the ground. make sure u attach both the ground and power from your lights to the 2 dome light wires (power->power and ground->ground, otherwise your lights wont shut off when the dome light does...hope this helps

Do they sell a kit for the interior door handles?
My passengers always complain they have a hard time finding the handles when they want to get out at night.(smash)

I just solved that with leds. Ive only done front doors. Leds are connected to my interior neons but you can connect them to dome light too.
