So, I designed a DIY water to oil cooler! Oddly enough, if you've got a brazing torch, some solder, copper tubing, tubing ends, and two NPT Bungs or whatever you'd like to use!.

Alright, the copper tubing.

One tubing must be rather large, the other much smaller.
Take your tubing ends, braze them onto the large tubing, leaving you with what looks like a hollowed catalytic converter.

Drill two holes in the large tubing, these will be for your bungs.

Take your smaller tubing, slide through the CENTER of the now hollow chamber, leaving enough on either end to hook your coolant tubing to. Braze

Congrats, now you've got a water to oil cooler. Should look similar to my awesome diagram

But what problem does it solve?

Is not a deeper oil pan with baffles an easier/quicker/cheaper/lighter/more reliable solution?
