Coolant change

Anyone done a coolant flush/change yet? I know the manual says something like 150k or so, but I wondered if anyone has done it before or at that period. My scangauge says my coolant temps are around 204F when driving and I don't know it that is high or low. The "gauge" just stays in the middle regardless of engine load/outside temp, so I know its not accurate. I've got 103k on my 08 now.

I haven't change mine yet but asked the same question about the long life coolant (FL22). My '08 is only turning 50k so I have a long way to go. The first change interval is "suppose" to be 120k yet 60k thereafter using the same coolant, can someone explain that? I would definitely recommend flushing coolant by 100k. Coolant and motor oil are the lifeblood of the engine, esp if you drive hard or under extreme temp conditions (hot summers and/or cold winters).

Dummy gauges are the norm now. I really like the early Miata's oil pressure gauge, then it went to dummy gauge after '95. For all dummy gauges, if it stays in the middle or consistent, that's good.

I did a flush last year at 100k miles out of convenience because I had to replace my thermostat for a code it threw.

I'm guessing corrosion is why the interval changes.
