i am just finishing up putting my motor back in and im stumped on what plugs into the connector under the intake manifold. i know the one that plugs into the alternator and the oil pressure switch but the one im talking about is a two wire connector, the connector itself is grey and its right next to the wires that go to the starter. i will try and get a picture on here but if anyone knows what that connects to that would be greatly appreciated.

Speed sensor on top of the transmission housing perhaps? That's the only one I can picture at the moment in the area you're talking about. Maybe EGR. Without a picture and based on your description, that's what I'm thinking, but those aren't "under the manifold" really.

The 2nd O2 (has 4 wires) is down there as well as the knock sensor. The speed sensor on the trans will just be a plug because MSPs have ABS and the ECU uses the ABS sensor for the speedo.

Its not the speed sensor, and its not the secondary O2, its a grey plug and has a green and I believe white wire coming to it

He's talking about the harness side I believe, so that would negate the knock sensor.

alternator? just went a snapped a pic after seeing this. You can see it has a green and white wire
edit: nevermind, I just read again where you already knew the alternator one
