colder plugs

Ok now that the flash is it and what has been done is advance timing, would using stock plugs on stock boost be a smart safety precaustion or not necessary?

Yeah, return it to stock as much as you can and then start slowly experimenting.

I don't have them yet, I was about to order them but did not. I was just wondering what others with more knowledge about engine than myself thought.

I am putting them in as a safety measure. We are now more prone to detonation, so might as well try to prevent it as much as possible.

I'd put them in regardless....... I havent got my flash yet but put them in, in preparation for getting my Joe P MBC and I've noticed a slight difference. Starts up a bit easier, doesn't idle as rough, and when I 'boost' it doesn't seem as rocky (but very minor changes).

PS: if you for some reason have absolutely no clue on replacing spark plugs on the MSP I'm doing an FAQ page that happens to have a step by step picture by picture guide for the colder spark plug install

(yeah i know it's probably the easiest thing on the car but there are always some people who have no clue...... my guide page will aim to cover every single thing imaginable with the MSP)

Ok he is saying to use the stock plugs on stock boost???

You guys have switched to the colder copper plugs correct??

I currently boost 10psi, brought it down to 8 with spikes to 9 to prepare for the flash, so would it be wise to get the copper plugs??
