Clutch Slipping???? Or Something Else?

For starters I'm running JoeP's MBC peaking at 11 PSI and settling to about 9psi. To make a long story short I was turning onto a on-ramp and started to accelerate (spl?). I shifted all the way through third with no problem. I shifted into forth and the RPM's were at about 3800. As I kept accelerating and at about 4000rpms the car started to buck a little and felt as if not all the power was getting to the wheels. The RPM's didn't seem to climb like usually do. It seemed sort of sluggish too. Anyone know if this could be my clutch going out? Maybe it has to do with the shity mapping the ecu has. I don't know what the hell it is so I took off the MBC until I know what the hell happened. Thanks for your help, Evan

Hesitation perhaps? That's pretty much what i feel. Power isn't getting to the wheels.

I have the FPR on too. It just started doing this it has been doing fine up to now. I've had the MBC and FPR on for about 2 weeks now.

Its not clutch slip, if it were you would hold the gas down and the RPMs would climb quickly but the car would not accelerate.

try resetting the ECU, it should clear it up for a while...........might comeback later on.

Give it two days, that's about how often I reset mine.

I just reset it this afternoon and it's still doing it but in all gears now. To reset the battery you just pull off one of the terminal leads and pump the brakes right? If not, how then?

Ummm, by not abusing it...don't accelerate too hard with the clutch partially engaged, no clutch-dumping launches, etc. etc.

Buy a stronger clutch.

Pumping brakes? Just leave the battery disconnected for an hour or so, but I think it only takes about 15 minutes.

u pump brakes to get rid of any current that might still be in the capasitors.........

I vote fuel cut, I have both hesitation and fuel cut in my car, and I tell you he has fuel cut. You need to go get a voltage clamp put in from your local aftermarket mod/mechanic shop

There are no local mod shops around here. The closest one is an hour away. What does a voltage clamp do?

my car does it without any additional boost, my vote is towards hesitation!
