Clutch install question

So I have noticed a nice drip developing under my car lately looks like a rear main seal leak? oil coming from engine/bell housing area between those? <-- does that sound about right?

So i decided to take on the clutch job, and fix the seal while in there anyways. Is it very hard to do or straight forward?

im just about to do the same. Looking at the manual, it seems like a pain in the butt, But for the most part straight forward. As far as your leak is concerned, you sound right.. any leak comming from the bell housing is either the rear main, or tranny fluid. Course when u drain your tranny, if you see its looks brownish black.. that would prob be a good indication that its your rear main.

While it may look tempting to just pry out the old seal and put the new one in, you will damage the sealing surface on the crank. You'll need to remove the bracket holding the seal on (there's about 6 10mm bolts) then replace the seal, and re-silicone the bracket. Takes about 10 minutes once you have the flywheel off. Don't forget to grease the crank and seal before reinstallation so that the seal doesn't spin on startup.

Is there I how to on here I'm thinking my clutch is getting worse.. Almost to the point where I push it in about halfway and I can freely shift.. Just got done doing a alternator on a ford focus 06.. Omg that was horrible experience. Lol . Wondering if this may be the same . I tried looking for one but couldn't find on specifically for this.

It's in the shop manual. As that main seal continues to piss oil all over your clutch it's only going to get worse.

do you have to disconnect fluid lines? and do you have to bleed the clutch afterwards?
And what would be a decent clutch that isnt too expensive.. should i just look at autozone etc.. only mods are CAI, and Corksport exhaust.. dont need anything serious..

Just unbolt the clutch slave cylinder from the trans so no bleeding is required. Two 12mm bolts hold it on, then tuck it out of the way. For your setup best bang for the buck I recommend the Exedy clutch.

Thanks for all the tips and i appreciate the help. Seems like you have done this often.. lol any tips on how to do this? ive got the shop manual downloaded just kinda lost of how exactly to get the axle out, this would be my first clutch. so this would be fine? https://www.amazon.com (commissions earned)
should i just get a new flywheel as well and whats the pn for the rear main oil seal?
