Clicking from Passenger Front

I have a clicking noise coming from my passenger front wheel at low speeds. At higher speeds, the noise can't be heard any more I think because of the tire noise, but I get grinding noise. Also I feel vibrations through the steering wheel that seem to be related to the clicking(it's almost as if the clicking is causing the vibrations).

So upon inspection of the pass. front, the wheel bearing is bad. I grab the wheel at 12 and 6 o'clock and I get a good amount of movement, same with 9 and 3 o'clock. I also noticed the axle attached to the hub is moving a lot as well. It seems as if the axel is moving within the CV boot and unrelated to the hub movement.

So I know the wheel bearing is bad because of the side to side movement and up and down movement in the hub and the grinding noise. But is the Axel/CV joint bad as well? From research it seems like clicking noise is related to the CV joint. I would normally look through my workshop manual, but my computer is down until at least this weekend and I would like to order parts this week. Thanks for your help.

I would guess CV joint. Does the sound get louder when you turn really hard? Try driving in a circle.

Other than that make sure there are no rocks such in your tread haha :p

I haven't tried driving in circles, going to try that. I forgot to mention at freeway speeds, turning right, I get a loud grinding noise. It sounds like the tire is rubbing the fender, but only for a split second and it goes away and comes back and goes away.

It sucks not having my work shop manual and being able to look these things up and using the right names for the parts I think are bad. :(
