*** Check This Out ***

Hey all,
Have any of you tried this? Its a completely open source (meaning FREE!, Updated a lot, multiple platforms) racing game. Looks AMAZING. My coworker told me about it, and supposedly the physics are amazing. You can make your own tracks, model and build your own cars with 3d software such as 3dstudio.

If not already made, somebody has GOT to make a MP3 and P5 :). I plan on trying this out tonight.

SWEET! Can't wait to try it! Does it work with racing wheels, etc?

Yes, its still in beta stage (version is like 0.5.0), but it supports a wide range of controls and I believe force feedback. But there seems to be a pretty big following!

I downloaded it. My impressions are mixed so far. The graphics are amazing, its a bit buggy, and the physics are incredibly real. Unfortunately, this doesn't translate well to a keyboard :D. I downloaded a Viper, 350z, Celica GTS, 330i and a bunch of other cars.

Using a keyboard, my car would spin out way to easily. I'll need some kind of analog controller or steering wheel with pedals. Everybody should give it a shot though, especially if you've got good controls.

My @ss. Those physics are so far from real it's almost laughable. There's no WAY that I should do a 720 while trying to take a 90 degree turn in an EVO6 at 15mph. And the car handles like a dump truck.

Not only that, but the backgrounds look like they were made by a kindergardner. The game has potential, but I won't waste my time with it for awhile.

I DLed this Friday or thursday I don't remember...

IT ROCKS!!! I've DLed tons of cars, and I'm sorta fixing up the Mercedes 280E with different wheels, power up to 639, and different gear ratios...it flies! Did the same with the TRD Celica...

My Modeller or car editor doesn't work...

I'm assuming you're using a keyboard. I all but gave up on it until my coworker sent me a keyboard.ini file that was much better. I can actually get around a track now. You can tweak everything in the ini files you could think of (how fast the wheels go from straight to max turn on the keyboard) etc. The default settings don't let you do ANYTHING.

It definitely has potential, but its quite buggy. Cars look great though.
