Notice in the first pic of the stock vents how the lower one is chrome and the upper one is black? The stock chrome vents are out of place and very distracting when the sun hits them right. I would not be surprised if they are recalled.
I plan on changing my chrome out to carbon fiber too, but it will be with a decal and wrap it myself. I don't like the replacement ones I have seen so far. The thickness of the vent covers seems like its too much. A wrap would be more subtle and blend better IMO. I'll take some pix when I get time to do it. Right now I just have a carbon fiber vinyl covers the chrome trim around the shifter and center vents which are the main glare spots for me.
I was thinking of doing vinyl wrap but it's like I'm retarded trying to deal with the stuff. I cannot for the life of me get it trimmed and placed correctly. I watch the videos and its like they know magic or something. How did you carbon vinyl wrap your stuff? How did you get it cut and placed perfectly?
