Ceramic Brakes on MS6?

ABSOLUTLETY NOT TRUE.... OLD WIVE'(drive2) S TALE

do what you want...but its the truth. And my guess is me being over 40 years old with 10 of those years building and racing solo cars I have a tad more experience with cars and brakes. Its no wives tale..it's common sense.

thanks..

why dont you recomend them?
Make more dust, and I dont like the "Peddle Feel" they provide. And in the application you are looking for would provide nearly no benefit except looks.

Okay soo i dont know much about brakes, but i hear a lot of people talking about cars with "ceramic brakes" and how they last longer, are lighter, and brake better....

my question is; are they talking about the pad, disk, rotor...? and if it is the pad that is ceramic is it possible to do this mod to an MS6?

thanks~

I'm sure you could find and aftermarket. That would mean pads, rotors an calipers. Maybe different to compensate the over size item you wanr to install. I personally will be installing Raybestos Ceramics pads and rotors that can handle the heat. I'm not doing any racing. Mazda just can't keep brake rotors from warping...NOTE the have turned, replace the ROTORS. Nothing with the pads. I personally think you should replace rotors and pads at the same time. Scuff the rotors withe a grinding wheel and the new rotors and pads will seat better.

Good luck, Dave
