Car running like crap after cold start!

Hey all!

Here's the thing. For the past few days, when I start the car when its cold, it idles like crap, sometimes throwing up a misfire code. I disconnected my Boost Gauge thinking it was leaking there but still, the symptoms remain. I did discover that if I revved the car right after I cold started it, the idle would linger at around 2000 RPMs, dropping to 900 RPMS. After that, its idles fine. When warm, it would either idle and run without trouble, idle really rough or start misfiring at random times. When it did misfire, stepping on the gas fixed the problem. So far, it looks like it always misfires when cold but when warm, it seems to misfire sometimes but not all the time. Anyone have any idea what's going on? Would a bad Fuel Pressure Regulator be a potential cause? Btw, I have AEM CAI, Custom FMIC Kit, NGK Plugs with Magnecor Wires. I did recently discover that my HKS BOV was a knock-off but so far, the car had been running pretty well (I've had the BOV for close to a year now.)

Thanks in advance! :)
