I just find that some people are pushing it. Personnally, i don't like it when a car is too low ... like this one for exemple, i couldnt take the picture from a better angle, but i think you can get an idea.

The car was lowered all the way down to the mag

so what do you think ?

i like the look of a lowered car much better then stock height. I wouldnt go that low. too many things could go wrong while driving with it that slammed.

He must have coilovers :D thats how low mine goes with the stock wheels. I tried driving like that for a day, and im never doing it again! Way too bumpy and cant make it over any driveways :( It looks much better when the fender is flush with the tire ....not the wheel :D

Agreed. I will not get into another car that has coilovers. My ex had them on his del sol and everytime we would go over a bridge I would hit my head on his damned roll cage, I stopped getting in his car period after my head got cut open. Im still not sure how it happend but it hurt.

You can definitely have a car too low. That one in the pic is way too low, especially since its driving in the snow.

LOL......must have bad coilovers! I bought no-name coilovers for my Z24 and they slammed the car, but it was wayyyy too bumpy.....i was hittin my head too :D So i decided to buy Eibachs' GC Coilovers for my P5 and they ride fine....not too bumpy, something i can live with :D AFter i put on some Tokico shocks and struts it should be even better.

I prefer just higher than flush to the tires. This creates a semi-uniform look around the tire with the fender. A 1.75-2" drop seems perfect with the P5.

to me it is becoz i go shopping and buy heavy items, so its really personal preference

snow isnt really an issue anymore. i took that pic last night. It snowed sunday night ... we got about half an inch and some of it stayed on the ground because it was cold all day, but nothing major.

it really sucks though ... its ******* april and its still snowing. im so fed up

that's not low at all compared to mini truckers.
this i know first hand -- the truck i traded in for my p5 was a 96 s10 that sat less than 2 inches off the ground -- all the way around -- WooT that was fun :)

^^^ that's exactly what it looked like. except it was only lowered like that in the back. the front was lowered to ~tire

That yellow P5 is bagged......with the coilovers, it only lets you lower the front up to the tires and slams the rear.

I agree on this I dont like it when the back baggs too much because it looks like you went ghetto and just cut your springs. You can definetely over do it. I have eibachs pro on my p5 and i think it's perfect.

I get the best of both worlds. I have air struts in my car so I can slam it to the ground, but I can also raise the car for driving. I also have the Dakota Digital control unit which gives me complete control and preset levels I can instantly raise the car to.
