Yeah I had one of those cameras till it was stolen. great in clubs cause the black light and this camera it was like xray vision on the girls. Hehe got some good vids from atlanta clubs from our years at NOPI.

pretty much all of the sony camcorders do it. It is a side effect of NIGHT SHOT. and the lovely .01 lux. Much fun too be had.

I dont know about that, i tried it and it dont work, i got a sony digital 8 with night shot and super night shot, none of them work, maybe im doing it wrong, let me know

Well I can answer your question. Your camera is digital. My brother in law has a digital sony and it doesn't work either. Basically the digital corrects the lense side effect but the regular comcorder is not able to correct it so you get the side effect of somewhat x-ray vision on people wearing thin fabric.

The orginal Sony's that did this were taken off market, and the lense was changed and re-released. Sony got sued or something. You can't get the really good ones no more.

Well this one was manufactured on June of 98. Before the cut off date. So this one should do it. The reserve is Really low.

i just bid 199, so yep, the reserve is higher. Do you have evidence of how well the X-Ray feature works? I never go to see it before.

I dunno. I never actually tried the camera to see if the night vision thing works. But i dunno. It has the nightvision on there and it was made before sony had the recall.

Here are is a forum type place where they talk about the x-ray camera. Again, we have never tried it to see if it actually works. Still a good camera though.
