Came across a good deal on a SSAFC so i purchased it. Now the advice is needed.

Any suggested maps for this particular setup? Came across a thread but i was unable to open the MAP document. I was honestly dissapointed w the performace i ws getting so i figured I'd start tweeking. This is a new game to me so i want to make sure it's done right the first time. Unfortunately there are no reputable tuners around my area so I will be doing this myself. I'm hoping to get a little more kick and make panties drop at the touch of the pedal.

Since you are currently running fine with the stock PCM, just start from scratch. The SSAFC is just a manipulator, altering the MAF signal to coerce the PCM into adding more or less fuel and overriding the O2 signal to trick it into adding fuel in closed loop.
To tune open loop, you just set all values in MapA to 10 using the R4 software and then drive around (or on a dyno) with a wideband and adjust them up or down to achieve the desired AFR. To tune closed loop, you really need a good OBDII scanner so you can see your trims. They recommend setting the overboost to 4psi and setting all values in MapB to 0. This will make the PCM think you are lean above 4psi and add fuel. The problem is this will eventually affect your open loop tuning as well, and why it is very hard to make a stable tune with a piggyback.

There is lots of info out there. Reading the SSAFC manual is a good place to start, and if you have several hours to kill, you can read through the million page SSAFC thread.

Most important question... What are you doing for engine internals?

@jdw K thank you for taking your time to reply to this post, I will keep what you said in ind. @THE Phen, nothing at the moment...possibly pistons durig the early summer

put your focus on the rods. Those are what this engine really needs. They are extremely weak. Engine will fail long before you reach full potential of that turbo.
