Just curious if this woud work.

Since the injen CAI is a hard pipe obviously, and is attached to the stock in line recirculating bypass valve, I was wondering if I could take off that line with the stock bypass valve and cap both ends where they previously attached to the black plastic hoses and weld into the Injen CAI a BOV of some sort; maybe even an HKS ssqv.

Would this work, or would I have trouble with stalling and such? I would weld in the flange for the bov after the flow meter before the entrance to the turbo.

What do you all think???

no, for the simple fact you need the BOV in the charge pipe line, preferably close to the throttle body. :D Look around at alot of the turboed cars, you will see the BOV is after the IC also. Its that way on your Speed as well. :D The BOv is there to prevent backpressure on the tubine, so it needs to AFTER the turbine.

Hope that helps bro. and good tuning. :D

aww s*** , there goes that idea........ So is it really worth it for this injen?? (serious question)

Let the flames begin:eek:
