BMW M3 CSL in action

that was pretty crazy...i want a nice big wet field now too. that'd be so cool...hehhe

yes, yes it is. i was a big fan of the evo...i still am. but i think i prefer a little higher scale interior for the price. in other words, i'm willing to sacrifice performance for comfort.
which really doesn't have anything to do with this thread. so back to the topic...
evo is faster and i love it. but the csl is cool too

if i interpretted correctly, it wasn't a stock evo vii, it is the carisma edition, whatever the hell that means :)

faster by 0.02, thats way within human error ...

Thats some nice ******* driving tough!!

yeah...those cars looked really freakin sweet! i loved watching all of them. and yeah...the differences between the top few cars could be a simple over-correction.

seriously...that's inspiration for me to go to an empty parking lot and go apeshit in my car :D

yeah...its called Auto-X. :D i can't wait till next season...cuz damn its fun!!!!!!!!!! just another month couple months!

Had he not power slid the car through all the corners, he would have beaten the Mitsu. That looks cool but is not good for times. He is a good driver though to keep it on the track sliding like that.

yea, that's really taking it to the limit. like with the porsche, he managed to keep it running on the track despite running it into the dirt. i'd say that's a pretty close call... but damn, i wish i could drive like that.
def 0.02 seconds are too minimal. the most minute change in steering input or speed or braking or whatever could change that i'm sure.

i like how he called SMG SMgay. i totally agree, does it bother anyone else that it comes with SMG?

I want one! The CSL will not be sold here in the States. They will be limited run production. SMG is faster shifting then the regular 6spd in the current M3 and Z4.

Could you imagine a 3 series with an M5 V8 Motor?
