Bought used CX-9 from Carmax and took it to dealership service department for independent inspect (all things are AOK)...I pick up a maintenance schedule list with prices and see BG logo everywhere. What exactly is BG and how does this relate to Mazda?(uhm)

Maintenance schedule is in your Owner's Manual (no BG logo there).
My recommendations for maintenance:
- oil change: every 5,000 miles
- carbin filter: every 10K (buy filters and DIY in 2 minutes)
- tire rotation: every 10K (two oil changes)
- transmission fuild flush: every 30K (not required, but I highly recommend this.)
- (AWD) differential fluid: 30K-40K
- Spark plugs: 60K
Other items (such as alignment, tire balancing, etc. do them when needed)
Don't buy into the 15K/30K.45K/60K service package. Those are rip-offs designed to lighten your wallets/purses.
Collect dealer coupons from their website or mazdausa.com (under MyMazda page) for items you plan.
Ask dealers to ONLY do those items.
Your warranty will not be voided.
Most Mazda dealers have "Free Inspections" coupon somewhere. You don't pay for inspections.
They will be more than happy to find "problems" with your CX9 for you so that they can make money from you or Mazda.
