BEGI Turbo Owners, help!!

if you flip it over the bolts still line up, it would cover more of the turbo that way but it wouldn't fit because its bent wrong

I can see what you saying I'll have to contact Corky on this one. I believe a few other people had this issue also.

Don't worry, Corky is aware. We've got a couple of different ones to check here so that we can confirm what the correct setup is.

Can ya send me one. Mine lookd pretty terrible with 2 extra holes drilled in it so i could fit te damn thing in.

Well, I started my car, and just when I was tunning it, I noticed a fuel leak! The damn plastic line from the stock FPR...How the hell do I get it not to leak? Anyone have this problem?

2 ways. remove the fuel lines by the fire wall and use a heat gun to secure the fitting better. Replace the fuel lines all together with climps and new 1/4" hoses.

So everyone knows what I told you on the phone....

Replace the hose barbs on the AFPR with 5/16" ones. Get some high-pressure 5/16" fuel hose and replace those hard lines completely. That's the way all the new kits will be shipped, as the original way of doing fuel lines was poor and prone to leaks.

This is what I did once I slowed down my thought process, and figured out what the hell you were saying. Thank you. The funny thing is that when I fixed the leak, I discoverd another that was there too! After going back and forth from AutoZone to Oriley's about 5-6 times, I finnally got it right! It worked out about 20 minutes before I had to leave for work. I got no (sleep).

Holy smokes this thread is all crazy...

Now I know why Keith asked me about having an MP3 to test...All I need is the kit and I'll be over the mountain in a jiffy.

Anyone want to take their's off and send it to me??

Why don't you guys replace those fuel lines with steel braided ones. They aren't that much more expensive and they look much better. You can get them at any autozone or pepboys and they are very easy to replace.

I agree they are the better choice Big Ben

but would it solve the problem? Isn't the leak from a connection?

That's right - the problem is the connection, not a porous hose. We've had no problems using quality high pressure fuel line once you get a good connection.

Keith

I'm not saying the leak is from the hose, I'm just saying that steel braided hoses are cheap and look better than stock ones. That's all. But if you are having a leak, get a smaller hose that fits the fuel line better. I think the braided ones from pepboys is like $12 each.
