Im not sure but its not real big, looks really close to stock size. I would guess 2inch. maybe 2.5

The "lump" in the brake booster is a check valve that maintains vacuum in the brake booster. It also prevents boost from entering the brake booster and blowing the thing up.

i would run open vent and relocate your maf to the coldpipe, with either a greddy type s or hks ssqv, there will be 0 turkey if you do that and you wont ever have any stalling issues. BTW, stay away from the type rs, its a peice of s***, worst thing i ever bought for my car.

I didnt really check long, but when I was under my hood today, I felt for this "lump" my whole brake booster line is a hard pipe, not real soft. is the other line near the brake booster, that bolts to the cold pipe?

local announcement, NEW RIDE! I talked my dad into buying a 88 porsche 911 carrera today. project car pretty much, but its running real stong right now. he already has an 02 boxter s. so this is kindof both our car he said. I talked to him about maybe putting a turbo kit on it. but it is carbuarated so, it will not be easy to turbo charge.
