BEGi FMIC installed!

got the BEGi fri from another member, installed it sat. took about 7 hours full install. thought i'd post some pics, has anyone cut off those side brackets? any pics of what it looks like with that crap cut, Im tempted to but dont know cause I might want to put mesh back on.

plus after Installing, It quieted my turkey quite a bit! basically all low end turkey is gone, and i used to hear it on almost every shift! only heard if i rev it out past 4.5k now. tell me if more people cant see the pics people, i'll re upload them smaller.

-anyone have any pics of them cut? next im investing in a bov in the next week. my main concern is killing ALL of the surge, I've been told that anything will kill ALL the surge if its run duel setup? anyone know more bout that. probably looking at the new ssqv, but its none adjustable.

nope , I still have the lower mesh grill. I prefer to keep the front mount somewhat hidden from debri.
I would suggest running a dual setup. Tap into the brake booster vacuum line but be careful. There is something inside that needs to stay intact ( not sure what it is but its important).
Run a single vacuum line to your bov which should be located in the middle of the cold pipe somewhat closer to the throttle body. Also run and single vacuum line from the recirculating valve to the brake booster line. I would suggest buying a vacuum block to put in the brake booster vacuum line. This way you have several t's to choose from.

yes I've looked into this, tap to the left of the lump right? Im planing on duel set-up probably. I guess my more important question to anyone was, what is the best bov to buy to kill ALL surge? will the ssqv if I run duel set up?

Looking awesome, I agree with sandsped though. Put the mesh in there and keep debri from hitting your intercooler. It may look cooler without, but in a year when its all pitted from larger rocks, you'll wish the mesh had been there.
