I have never driven the 03-04 cobra but its on my top 5 cars to own someday. I traded my 00 trans am with a friend for a weekend. He had an 04 mustang GT with full exhaust, intake, tune. It was MUCH slower then my fbody but it sounded awesome and i just loved the overall driving experience. I hate fbody interior. its low and long, feels more like a space shuttle then a car. the mustang feels more compact, i imagine that the 03-04 cobra is just going to be better then a GT in everyway...but i could be mistaken

Eh, id wait and get a 2011 Mustang. Its a huge upgrade in everyway after they depreciate a little bit id pick up a 5.0, its rated at 412hp but makes more like 430hp. it handles better, brakes better, looks better then the 05-2010 in my opinion.

bone stock quarter mile in the mid 12s at like 113mph doesnt sound bad either.

Ford does make an awesome sounding v8...

07 mustang??? ugh.

my sisters boyfriend has a 07 gt. ive ridden in and it the ms6 feels so much quicker (and it has 4 doors and can get 28-30 on the highway)

MS6 might feel quicker but the 05-2010 mustang GT do mid 13's at like 102-103mph.

The best quarter mile ive done is a 14.6@98mph and im modded. Ive lost to four mustang gts from a roll or a dig by bus lengths and two of them were stock to my knowledge.

274hp vs 315hp and they have less drivetrain loss and might weigh a little bit less. Most MS6 dont trap at 102-103mph until they have all the boltons.

Reliability of one vs the other the mustang is tested and true i love it. I bought the MS6 due to the fact it was awd and i needed something to drive all year long, then i moved home and stored it in the winter, if i had of known i that i'd be in a situation where i could store it, i definatly would of had a new mustang instead of dishing out 700 a month for the ms6

I had an 06 GT. With 500 miles on it I ran 14.0@100, it was also 90 degrees that day. My friend in his stock on a cool fall night ran 13.4@103. They are pretty quick, add intake, 93 oct tune, and LCA's they run high 12's if you can drive. I had a fully loaded premium, it weighed 3475 with a 3/4 tank of gas. Then 3395 with the spare and jack out.

BTW: 700 a month? Did you buy it new?

Yup, that was with 5 grand down payment and also got the car for 1500 above cost due to my company i was working for had whats called a xplan, still financed 39
