if i get the eibach prokit but don't add upgraded struts, will the performance still be noticable? i don't really mind about class changes, i just don't wanna waste money on the eibachs if they aren't gonna perform better.

probably won't do you too much good with just springs, as you'll be wobbling up and down since your struts aren't stiff enough to handle the extra compression of the eibachs....

IMO the best bang for the buck mod for autox is rear sway bar, THICK rear sway bar :)

after that, then a full strut/spring replacement, or full coilover if you got the $$$ (and you'll be out of STS IIRC)

so is the AWR rear sway the best choice?
i'm off to re-read the AWR thread! haha

AWR is the best bet IMO.

also see if you can find anything on camber plates. Proteges in stock form has almost no camber adjustment ability (-1 degree max I think)

oh, and get some Falken Azenis tires, best street-tire for autoxing.

unless you are staying in stock class, then get some Kumho or Hoosier R compound tires. Tires make more difference than suspension pieces in autox...

thank you much! i know i've been asking a new set of questions each day.

hmmm, i planned on selling whatever i bought before i left for college, but i won't be able to sell the azenis...plus i do a lot of driving....i dunno if azenis would last until august. time to go to the junk yard in search of another set of steelies!!
