Anyone have any feedback on this mirror. Work well? Is it worth getting? Seems a bit pricey but my garage remote is shot, just looking for a cleaner option.

I got one with the compass for my 2009 Mazda 5 a few years ago. Works really well, can be programmed for 3 garage door openers. I installed it myself, came with good instructions. Hardest part was getting the interior trim off on the passenger side pillar to put the wire behind it. It hooks up to wires by the floor on the passenger foot area. Another nice feature is it dims headlights behind you at night.

You still have the install instructions by chance?

My 08 had it installed but the 2010 model I traded it in for did not. I swapped the mirrors before turning in the 08. I ran the wires but didn't note where they were tapped when I removed it. I've had this dimming/homelink mirror installed now for two years but never connected. Thinking I might like to hook it up finally.
