i finally got the fm modulator and the splitters i need to hook up my video system, could you tell me (or draw a digram) how to wire all this stuff?

Can you list the equipment you have?
The FM modualot should just go in line with your Antenna cable to the stereo, Just disconnect it and plug it into the Fm modualtor then plau the FM modualtors cable in to the radio.
Does your FM mod have a control panel?
Run the RCA audio cables from your source to the FM modualtor then plug them in and hook up power, switched power and ground to the FM modualtor.
The video splitter then just gets plugged into the output of your source and then your route the split video cables to where you need them to go, your monitors.

panasonic dvd player, audiovox modulator, two pyle 5" screens, and a whole lot of wires!, do i wire the dvd wires directly to the radio( power, ground, remote, clock,etc)...also, can i run all the power wires for screens and dvd, and modulator together?

What does the audiovox FM have for wires, I assume FM input, FM output, RCA inputs, Power input, switched power, power and ground.
What wires does the DVD player have? Is it an indash unit with a monitor or are only the pyle monitors showing the DVD signal?

the modulator has power, grnd, and the switch to turn it on,then the rcas, and antenna hookup as you said...

the dvd player isnt a screen model, it will be in the glovebox, with a power, grnd, remote(blue) and clock?(yellow), then it has one set of rca outputs, i assume the audio goes through the modulator, and the video signal runs to the splitter, to the tvs?

the monitors have a box(i guess so they show the same signal?) do i run one video wire to the other?...also, they have a power and grnd too...

man, alot of wires!!!(wow)

The hardest part will be using a relay for all the switched powers. Basicly you'll need to get a large guage wire, 12 guage should do and run it to the battery positive terminal or the constant power at the column. Thats the top terminal, terminal 87.
All of the switched powers should go to terminal 30.
The switched power or remote wire of the radio, if aftermarket, should go to left terminal, terminal 86.
Ground should go the the right terminal, terminal 85.

You can ground the units to anywhere you want but I would suggest using the same gound point for the DVD player, radio and fm modulator. Don't just tap the factory ground wire. Make a new one with a larger, 12 guage wire once all the other gorunds are connected together. Or just ground the DVD, and FM mod to one spot and make a new radio ground at that spot.

I suggested the above to aviod audio ground loops. you don't have to but it is a good idea.

Your Video DA may also have power and ground. If it does just attach the power with the rest of the switched powers at the relay and the ground where ever is easiest.

Once everything else is connected you can experiment with the parking brake. I'm not sure what it needs to trigger on the DVDplayers out puts. Its either power or ground. Just place the wire to a ground point and see if it comes on, if not tap it wo constant power and see if you have an image then. If ground is needed then just ground it, If power then attach it to the array of other switched power wires.

(wow) thats complicated, i guess i might have to get this stuff installed, it'll be neater and faster.

hey 1st...
what the heck is a video da? and man, that wiring diagram givin me a headache.lol(bluemp3)

Video splitter, Sorry thats my other jobs lingo coming out, we call such a device a Video distrobution amplifier or Video DA for short.
