Ok, I for one am tired of the snow, and all the potholes (see post under protege5 section).
Since we are getting $2700 back from the gub-ment, I just called our travel agent and the sister/brother-in-law, wife, and I are all going to Aruba 7/2-7/8.
I am in South Jersey and sick of the snow and the cold-ass weather. I know I cannot be the only one, so I am proposing a Protege 5 meet in Aruba. Granted, it will be a car meet, where none of us will have our cars, but hey, its all good. Nothing a few Corona's on the beach can't fix. Actually, there wont be ANY Protege 5's on that island. There might be a couple, but I doubt it, Arubans aren't really that well paid (even though they should be, cause they are the nicest people on any Island I have met so far). Like I said, maybe sitting on the beach we can all trade our back issues of Autoweek or something. I will bring my portable PS One with a screen, so we can all play Grand Turismo 2 (only racing game I know of with our cars in it).
Any takers? Staying at the Mariott Ocean Club Aruba, and flying USAir out of Philly...
