Heres a link to one of the protege sites that has a how to. Its prety easy and seems wont have anyproblem. He used the same momo shift knob and actually made it look better because he cut the shaft lower to make it look it came with the car.

sweet. My gf's sister is 22 and a senior at embry riddle aeronautical eng. major... Michelle Brown. She's practically my sister, so we crash at her place almost every weekend. I also enjoy heading over to my parents condo down in Ponce inlet. Anyways, looks like you're pretty involved with that scca car so I'm sure you have tools and stuff. I have basic stuff to install exhausts etc but I didn't know if you had any tools since you might only be down here for school. I know a lot of erau kids are from up north. Anyways, hope to see you at winterpalooza if not sooner.

I actually dont have all the tools I need or want but I have enough to manage. I'm actually from Puerto Rico. I did my first 2 years as AE major but I want to build race cars and found out that ME was better for that and more hands on.
http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=24873 hey this thread is going to help u out alot man, for the shifters that dont have the button, i heard all they do is press down the "manual" shift knob and then move the stick into the gears, if that anwers yur quetion for the knobs that dont have a button on for the automatics.
