Another eXhuasT Question

ok guys im really torn about what exhaust to get ive heard alot of good things about a lot of different companies and i know its all personal preference as well. Heres what i cant decide between canister like exhuast or muffler like exhaust. so guess if everyone could just post pics of there exaust that woule be great. as for sound i dont want somthing super quiet but i dont want super loud i do like to hear my exhuast and my 240 is really loud right now but its a nice deep tone. i like deep tones being loud not to much of an issue.

(p5silver) These pix are from magnaflow catback. It is the nicest looking and fitting catback that I have seen so far. Sound is very deep and it is amazing after taking foot of the gas. I paid $320 few months ago and I love it.

yes mathew ur car is sexy only thing is i really do want the hks but will it sound ok on na car...

sure, and if its too loud for you, it comes with a silencer

love my magnaflow....nice and deep....not that loud but noticable around 3100 rpms and up if you have it full throttle....no droning while driving on the freeway...i just love to listen to it idle with the doors open......

I have a header followed by a MAM midpipe with a high flow cat. Then stock resinator and tubing to the MAZDASPEED axle back.

I put on the MAZDASPEED when I had a total stock exhaust. It sounded nice but had a little drone around 3500 rpms. I solved that issue with some dynamat left over from my 66 mustang.

Then I got the ractive header. Wow I am getting air from the engine now and the mazdaspeed exhaust is starting to talk to me. The drone got bad and dyna mat wasn't going to fix this. So I just turned up the stereo a little louder. Well I got the MAM midpipe and holy s*** that made a difference of the butt dyno and on an actual dyno as well. Bur now I am getting all kinds of air out of that MAZDASPEED can and its borderline Honda sounding.

I have heard the MAGNAFLOW on a P5 and really like the sound. So I am going back to the stock mufler from the axle back until I can afford the magnaflow cat back exhaust.

hahah yea the old one was just thrown together real quickly CHIMSP did this one and yes he did an excellent job ty.
