In case you dont know, bird poop is highly acidic and can eat through a cars top/clear coat if left there. My Fit has three sports that arent going anywhere until I buff it off. Being a city dweller, pigeons poop is as toxic as it gets and Im pretty bad about getting it off b/c I dont have any tool to get it off (see Fit). Water + napkins works in a pinch but yesterday my wife had a brilliant discover tongue scraper!!! Its the Fing bees knees. We happen to have one in the car from a prior dentist visit, which the kids were play with, and figure well make use of it. With a little water, the silicone side applies just the right amount of pressure. Since it is a low profile stick shape, the scarper part is easy to rinse with water and I store it under the driver size floor mat so it doesnt move around. No fuss, no muss. Awesomeness!

Just better make sure that the kids don't "re-discover" it and out it back into use for its original purpose

Trust me, this is very first concern any parent would have! Luckily my kids don't stick stuff in their mouth and they don't know what a tongue scraper is used for. Sandwiching it underneath the floor mats will keep it away from their curious minds/hands (also credit the wife b/c I was thinking like you and though this has to go to the trash).
