An anouncement to my 2nd family

Well its official.
As some of you may already know I am a police officer in Miami. I have been working the streets for 3 years now and have had an enourmous stress load. I am 28 years old and already have high blood pressure and am beginning to lose my hair...........in other words it not worth it to me anymore. The Job has lost its appeal.

I will be quiting in January of 2003 and become a reserve officer. I basically volunteer twice a month and in return get to keep my police status and certification.

I will be working on SPOOL full time then. I have owned 3 succesful business's before and think I am pretty savvy at it. I think its time that I go after my dreams and do this.

So in January I will move to Virginia for 3 months for business purposes and organize up there. My partner Norman will take care of operations down here in Miami and Steve our fabber will be making kits. I will handle all customer support (emails, phone calls, orders ect). So this is a huge step and hopefully a rewarding one. I have decided to leave the police force 2 months ago and have never been so happy in my life. I feel like I will be let out of a prison sentance early or something...lol

I am currently working hard on our website and will offer many new products and product lines. So when I return in march we will be moving our operation to a wharehouse district and open up shop, maybe offering installation. I have come to the realization that I cannot only rely on protege sales alone so we are diversifying our projects to include many makes of cars.

Some of you may be asking yourselves why am I telling you guys this. Well its because of this forum that I have been inspired. And it has helped me realize my life long dream and passion.....................turbos and cars. So I would like to thank everyone here that I consider like my second family for giving me the inspiration and insight on pursueng this.

To be able to reach out and grab for the "brass ring" is something that MANY people want to do....but rarely do out of fear of the unknown, or insecurities. Its a big step....and you know WE are all behind you.

I just feel so relieved to be leaving this job. I have been in a 3 year rut and its time to break out!
I know that I am venturing in the unkown and taking a bit of a risk, but isnt that what life is about? I do not want to regret anything and bieng scared of pursuing something that I wish I had done.

Thanks again, I will be staying with my parents. I am going up there so I can refresh my self. My family owns a wholesale business up there and my father will get me up to speed on accounting methods, shipping, customer support setup ect since I have been out of the loop bieng in law enforcement ect.

I am also down with this, unfortunatly I will not be driving my car up to Va I dont want my baby to be in the snow....sh'll get to cold, and My car is the test bed for us. When I am gone we will fit it with a bigger turbo t3/t4........ I will most likley be rollin in a rental.....hey my sis and mom drive pro5's though
