Alarm questions....

Today I went to this car audio/alarm shop. I got a quote of $200 to get an alarm installed (that includes sales tax). I dont' know the brand of the alarm....

It had the shock sensors
engine kill
2 remotes
LED

What do you think?

What else would you recomend?

It really depends upon what your paying $200 for. I mean, there are certain alarms that I would not let someone pay me $200 to put into my car. There is a lot to be said about reliability in a brand name. When your talking about protection for your pride and joy, don't skimp. Also, it does not matter how great the unit you buy is, in the end, it will only be as good as the install. Make sure whoever is installing it knows what they are doing. Good luck.

If its less then $300 the units probably junk.

For instance you get a decent alarm for $200 but not with install. The good install casts aleast $100.
