looks like my power steering can and rad can. i bought these two locally though

peace

<$100. I've got a K&N CAI that relocates the stock overflow tank right in front of the battery. I'm getting ready to install an Optima with a custom billet "cage" hold-down and the tank is in the way / up too high / downright fugly.

nice, nice!! i may have to paint the cap black or yellow, red is not my theme. thanks for the awesome find!!

u can use that can for the radiator fluid, but ull have to fill it up with a funnel or very carefully. i had that one in red and sold it because of the hastle to fill it up :)

if u do paint the anodized rep cap, use high temp paint, sucker gets pretty hot!

peace

hmmm yea im not gonna want to hassle with having to 'carefully' fill it up everytime i need to...i may spare the extra and get one that is worth the money....thanks for your input!!! i was thinking of powder coating the catch can itself and using 500 degree engine enamel for the cap, would those work for this???

i have one of pirana's catch cans in blue (matches the laser blue well) that will be forsale in the next few weeks. Just a heads up.

greddy? nice nice. im hoping to go with greddy or a cusco one soon also :) post pics!

Looks like I'm gonna go with the "V-Racing Fuel Overflow Catch Tank" from http://www.autotoyaz.com/vfuovcata.html (The link L8R hooked us up with). From all I've seen so far, it has all the features for a good coolent catch can - Screw cap top / sight glass / vent / and it looks like you can tap in the return line from the bottom which is what we need. Unless you can hook up some sort of a siphon tube set-up inside some of the other cans, I can't see how they would function properly. Gimme a "heads up" if anyone finds another alternative with these features.

with these cans, im not too sure, it may come in pieces, meaning u put everything together. just make sure u use plumbers tape and seal everything well. before you install, add water to the container to test it... yes, u probably know this, but just a simple heads up :) i didnt do this when i installed my power steering can and i had hell for a week trying to patch and correct everything.

good luck on the purchase! post pics

I installed the greddy coolent overflow tank this past weekend. I was going to mount it up close to the radiator, but decided to mount it where the the K&N CAI relocated the stocker to fill in the dead space. Looks waaayyyy better.
