AEM short ram for AT reduces low end power?

Hi all,

I install my AEM short ram on my AT P5 today. The engine is now much louder and I found my car had a bit less power in the low end. Is this normal?

But the car definitely has more power in higher rpm like 3000+

Yes, but give it some time

Mine did the same thing (but I'm using an Injen.) After the long roadtrip to Carlisle and back, it seems to have re-established a better fuel map in the low end. Meaning it doesn't feel as bad as the first few days after the install.

Still not where it used to be with the OE intake plumbing, but it's a whole lot closer to where I want it to be. Give it some time....

Give the car some spirited drive time too. This helps building the new fuel / timing maps in partial throttle mode.
