the filter sits on the bracket where the coolant tank was, im tryin to fix my camera.

so in other words, its not mounted to anything, its basically just chillen?

it doesnt need to, the way it sets its wedged in there, it doesnt move or rattle or anything.

so your aem is somewhat looking like this:

cept, its longer towards the right so the filter is where the overflow tank is.

Isnt that tank important?
only if the car overheats, the radiator cap has a valve that will open and let the fluid overflow out of the radiator, the tank just contains it instead of draining on the ground, u do need it but for a few days its fine

just get an L bracket TX, and jimmy rig it somewhere, thats what i did when i had my injen cai. i mounted it right next to the back of the radiator.

If so, i told people about this along time ago.....ive had it like this for over a year now.

exactly like that, i wasnt on the board a year ago.
Its cool......someone brought this up a couple of months ago too, i just assumed it got around (wiggle)

You'll need to cut off that piece that sticks out of the intake and turn the coolant bracket to the front.....like you said before, the intake is very snug in that little corner so you dont need anything holding it up.....it will be fine.

Hmmm, that's a cool trick. So for the coolant bracket, you basically just swing the bracket around? And you can saw off the piece from the intake? Thanks! (cool)

So this does make a difference? I was assuming it was getting heatsoaked by that fan. Anyone got a pic how you moved the bracket for the coolant container?
