ugh, it seems everytime it rains here in jersey (every week) theres a fair share of acid in the mix (its amazing anything lives here)...most of the acid comes off but theres some stubborn stuff, how do ya get it off? i hope it hasnt burned to the paint yet, ugh, its pretty damn hard to stay on top of the acid rain when it rains acid everytime it rains which is every other day

What on earth are you talking about? Just hose off your car after it rains. You should be fine. I only wash my car once every 3 weeks. I do however put 2-3 coats of Meguiar's Gold Class wax on each time. It kills about 4-5 hours, but it's worth it.

Fortunately I have a color that doesn't show dirt - see my avatar. Unfortunately this also means that waxing my car doesn't make as big a difference as it would were my car a solid simple color like yellow, blue, white, black, red, or orange.

My last car was blue, before that was Black, then White, then blue. First one was brown - and it was pretty easy to keep looking clean, that's why I like the Shimmering Sand Metallic color I have now.

BTW, where in NJ are you?

ya rain sucks...
I normally do what Micah mentioned. (hose down)
Murphy's law: It rains within 24 hours of me washing the car. If that is the case, i just hose her down and dry her with the Chamois.

I normally end up washing the car once every 2 weeks. If its not rain...it tree sap, bird s***, bug spalts....etc etc

I've got a solution for you Spicy Ray.....GET THE HELL OUT OF JERSEY!!!!

Acid Rain!!???? (hand) Jesus Christ that sucks.

You guys have liquid nitrogen snow too? Come out to California where it's sunny 300 days of the year, and you won't have to worry about it! :D
