Hello carbonkid,
Nice work organizing this GI for the Members...Just have a few questions...
- Seems like you're acting as a rep for AP now...What's your association with AP?
- What sort of compensation are you receiving for promoting these endlinks?
The potential issue I have here is the "line" between promoting interest in a product to have it made...and...Promoting a product for a vendor that is already available...Since the initial product is already on sale, seems like you're acting as a rep for AP when they should have AV status at this point.
That said...I totally support efforts to generate interest in having a product made but once it's for sale and if it's still being promoted...The vendor involved needs to obtain AV status ASAP or such threads may be removed because we have to protect and support our own AVs & AMMs.
I would appreciate your understanding and cooperation...Let me know...Thank you!

However, I really don't see how AP would need AV status since by your definition within the Forum Rules, an AV status should be given to "a vendor who wishes to sell products on this site". This "vendor" is not selling anything on this site; the only link between them and here is the urls carbonkid posted about a product he thought the community would be interested in.

seems to me that carbon kid is just reppin a product he thinks we've all been looking for.. i doubt he's gettin paid or anything.. but he'll answer that!
CulRidr and boostd are correct in that I have not recv'd anything whatsoever from AP, ASIDE from a set of them to test on my MSP. After that, I just created this thread to document their R&D/testing/etc.
They are almost three hours away, and I no longer live in PHX. Even when I did, I was just helping AP out by pointing out a need that existed. Lo and behold, something already in their product line fit that need.
To answer your question about compensation, my compensation is helping other MSP owners find a off the shelf, reliable solution for rear end links. I get nothing from AP regarding these and would be glad to put you in touch with AP if you like.

I see that they are on the site now, Is there any word of anything that fits the front end?
Im actually waiting on the ups guy with parts to make front and rear endlinks, minus the pretty blue connecting rods, but just as strong, if not stronger. I would go through the proper procedures for the forums but is there some demand for me to make these? i could probably do somethign like $100 a pair, not really sure though cause i havent given it much thought...

update? i have my stock links chillin. and they're ugly, and pointless. and i'm gettin a msp.. so i'll be ordering 2 sets of rears and 2 sets of fronts.. if we have them all.

No this isnt a GB. carbon just got lucky and was the guinea pig for the rear links that happened to be the same as evo rear links. they didnt make anything special for our car. no fronts are available, just rears and you have to buy from the website on the first page.
