Hmm, this is what i found out.

It seems that EVO's (7,8,9) have some kind of weakness in the rear like MSP's, sway bay mounting position + weak endlinks.
That's why AP only has rear endlink for us since they are offering the same endlnks used for EVO's.

That being said, i went to check for other companies making stuff for EVO's and see what their price was on rear endlinks , PERRIN offers a set for less then 120$, we already have experience with PERRIN as company and they do have good quality as well.

I'm still considering AP endlinks since they have teflon in their joints, i really need 4 new end links bc mine are all cracked.

carbonkid - can u state the performance of AP's endlink every now and then so we know how its holding, too bad u don't see salt/snow weather to test in those conditions as well :(

EDIT: I've had my eyes on the PROGRESS rear swaybar since its the only upgrade swaybar around but i think they were made for P5's , i'll get in touch with them and see what they say.

Fair enough and good info! ;)

How about this...I will post if I have anything negative to say about the AP rear links. Until then, good as ever!! lol

I have the Progress rear bar just sitting there and want to install it soon.

Is the Progress a noticeable handling difference from the Racing Beat stock on MSP?

On topic:
My current aftermarket endlinks have yet to go out on me (still silent as the day I installed them and not a crack to be seen), but they will eventually and then I would be interested in these... especially if they offered front and rear.

Since I'm not in the market right now I won't add my name to the list, but wanted to let you know there's future interest too.

Thanks!

I will let you know when I install the Progress bar. As far as the endlinks...good to know for future. ;)

Hey, you have sedan or wagon ?

I just got off the phone with ProgressAuto about their sway bar and the sales guy JOEY, said he didn't know much about it but Ed(tech guy) was busy in the shop so JOEY was going back and forth to ask him my questions and as a result the reason why they adv. for P5's is that according to them sedans prior to MSP/MP3 arrival didn't had sway bar so thats why.

On another note i can't conclude anything concrete since I couldn't speak to ED (tech guy) directly and JOEY was mostly "umm, I don't know" for every question i asked him.

I guess its all on you carbonkid, just make sure u do it and don't post pone it to much later time lol
You can test both , end links and progress sway bar at same time.

carbonkid - are evo's rear endlink same lenth as MSP's or very close to(smaller or bigger) ?

he has an MSP, I don't see where there is an "advantage" for a P5 over a an old sedan since their subframe is the same AFAIK, and I believe if you read the whole thread it is mentioned that it is the same length (if not, it's pretty close).

hmm, whats on sale , endlinks or Progress sway bar ?

P5 being a wagon has more weight in the back that is swerved around when u take a turn and sedan doesn't have that much weight in the back so there's a certain ratio to put in account for other wise it will be out of balance. Thats why i called them to find out what i can and why they actually designed it for P5 instead for the sedan body as well and etc.
Over all the sales guy couldn't confirm that it would even fit right and he said they never tested it on sedan body ever.

Patrickenator-
I don't know why they would not, but you would have to try them to be sure...and that is the point of this thread, that the Agency ones DO work...and ARE the CORRECT length for the PROTEGE. Also, beware, you can find cheaper ones for sure: but all endlinks are NOT created equal. Good luck.

Also, PM me: I currently have a SSQV, new in box, with recirc fitting/flange/etc, and will soon have my great shape, lightly used CustomMSP SMIC for sale.

so i just installed these with my awr rear bar. had to do a lot customizing since the awr bar has its own set of adjustable brackets

reason y i went to the trouble of making the awr bar fit is that soon ill get the MSP rear bar with the delsin brackets. and ill be using these endlinks

overall a great product!!!
