2nd Mazdaspeed in Toronto and its Mine!

I can see this stereo is going to be the topic of many threads to come.
The display can be changed in 2 different ways. First you set the display type. Type "A" is the one you want if you want the clock, the spectrum and the titles, type "B" is a waste, and type "C" is where the entire display is one big graphic.
After that you set the display mode ....
In type "A" there is an upper section and a lower section of the screen and you pick options as to what you want in each. You can have title and track elapsed time in the upper, and time and a spectrum in the lower. You also get to pick one of two fonts, how you want the time displayed, and one of three different spectrum styles.
In type "C" you pick which graphic you want between three spectrum analyzers and three moving graphics that you're just going to have to wait to see. These obviously don't give you much (any) information, but are great for impressing anyone looking at your car.
:wtf: I thought you guys were supposed to be helping me with this stereo! ... I'm still waiting for an answer .... :wtf: is a "Q" setting????

I'm dealing with Durham Mazda right now actually and wass wondering what you payed for it. A breakdown would be cool if you dont mind aswell. I'm sitting at about close to $31000 OTD so I just wanna know how you did with them..

Lucky guy.....you got one of three. The sales manager I'm talking to has #2 so maybe I'll get lucky #3.

How are you? I just picked mine up on Saturday. I delt with Wayne Small. Ask for him, and tell him i sent you. Mine name is Jeff. He's a nice guy that is willing to try anytthing in terms of freebies and discount. But Because he is only a salesman, he has his limitations. Anyway, On deliery date was my first time i've ever been at the dealer. I can't really tell you if everyone in their is good or not.
Yeah they told me 2nd car is waiting to be delivered too. No idea on who the lucky owner might be, but it's sold. I heard that the 3rd one is sold too, but i'm not 100%. They told me they'd get 3 Mazdaspeeds.

Breakdown went something like this if memory serves me correct.
MSRP............................$26,995 CAN
Desintation and PDI.....$925
Air Conditioning tax......$100
Gas Tax........................$90
Adminstation................$295 (disappointment)
Plus 15% PST & GST
Total........................... approx $32,700CAN

I was not happy with the price at all. There was absolutely NO discount taken. Not a penny. Just charges after charges. It's not like you can really talk about discounts, because you either take the car or you don't. There are plenty of customers who doesn't mind paying MSRP for this car. The only thing i got out of the no discount was from the accessories department. A Watch and a Cap. Worthless.

If you're getting away with $31000, i need to see that invoice. That's impossible!

No i haven't put on snows yet...i drive my car in the wet today with flurries. On normal launches it's fine. There's enough weight in the car and i never felt any slip.

what size snow tires should i go with? knowing now that i need 16". Sucks..i wish 15" would fit.
what brand snow tire did the dealer offer you?

15" won't fit the MSP? Damn ... they must have really upgraded the brakes because 14's fit on the MP3 ...

do you have window visors on your car? Do you normally drive on Steeles?.

This is according to the manual. if the front tire blows, the 15" spare will only do good for the rear, and not the front.
you'll need the rear rim to replace the front ones..and put on the spare in the rear...sucks, huh?
This is why i said 16" winters is only the way to go..

My freight and admin are basically half of yours. We bought a decked MPV ES back in the summer and then this Feb were gonna be getting a 6s so they're kinda familiar with how much business we give them.

I'll put up my invoice as soon as we agree on a deal with them, unless they threathen me otherwise.

That doesn't mean 15's won't fit guys. Ever look at the spare? It's a 15 but it's REALLY small. And thin. I mean it's much smaller then my 14's.

the first MSP comes in on Thursdat here. I'll know hopefully by the weekend about wheels as we are putting 15's on it right away.

is it really that dangerous for me to drive in the cold with the stock Racinghart 17's I've been crusing around in them in Toronto and they seem to be 'okay' if you take it easy. Just normal driving is fine. I haven't never felt the wheel spin during a normal launch.

It's just very cold (approx - 10 degrees at times). I tried to break into the car whenever it's dry outside.

If they sprinky salt on the asphalt, is this where my Racingharts are in danger?

Hey! You must be one big Mazda Fan! Van, Sedan and a Sports sedan? Why not go Miata as a weekend cruiser? That's a sweet garage, it would be really nice if you have a triple garage home to park all those sweet cars.
Ok, well if you buy 3 cars from them, then I can see them giving you a thousand discount. But still, IMO that's alot of this limited production car.
Btw, how come you're getting 3 brand new cars all for the same year? I don't know anyone who buys car's like that!
