2017~2025 Android Auto keeps disconnecting

I have a 2022 Mazda CX-5
VIN: PP1KFA274NM****** (Hiding last 6 digits for data privacy)
Head Unit version: 74.00.312 4A N
Phone: S24 Ultra
Android Auto is updated

Symptoms: Randomly during a trip (>30 mins) phone would randomly disconnect, first the audio stops then I know a few seconds later AA would disconnect. Then it reconnects. After it does this a couple times, it will absolutely not reconnect at all with weirder and weirder symptoms, such as the google maps exiting navigation by itself after failing to reconnect. AA not showing up on mazda's infotainment menu, bluetooth connecting but phone only, radio starts playing once it disconnects too.

What I've tried:
1. Changing cables (I've used branded cables ever since)
2. Changing phones
3. Using AA Wireless also updated

All 3 have the same symptom. I'm gonna try updating my head unit version in a few hours today, wonder what else can I try, can be done?

Your phone may be overheating.

Download the map area for offline use. This will limit radio use and will reduce power draw.
