2026 Q1 25Q3 (March 2026) latest gen Mazda Connect navigation map update

Has anyone updated a 2021-2023 CX-5 with the latest maps?

I am looking for this update but I have a 2023. KMV6 is stated to be for 2024-2025 only.

Update: apparently for 2023 using TD2K66EZ1, it works differently. There is the A, B, and C update:

  • TD2K66EZ1A: Older, initial map database (often representing 2021 data).
  • TD2K66EZ1B: An intermediary update release, typically covering 2022 to early 2023 map snapshots.
  • TD2K66EZ1C: The most recent revision. It features the newest available map database and supersedes (replaces) both the 'A' and 'B' variants. [1, 2]
Because we can't update these cards with the toolbox, we have to buy the C variant and replace the card we have.

I used mazda tool box and it says this is the latest update. mine is a 23. it definitely made a difference as I was recently traveling prior to updating and the speed limit changed on the interstate in ND and it kept showing me the old speed limit. it would briefly change when passing by a speed limit sign but then immediatly drop to the old speed limit. since I updated it shows the correct speed limit. this might not be what you are asking or trying but his is the latest version via the mazda toolbox.

i think you need to download the mazda toolbox not the mazda global but I could be all wet as I am not really savy on this but I think they are two different navi systems to update from if I remember right. might have better info in this thread.

I found your link in the thread you shared and I installed the "other" Update Toolbox (what a confusing mess), and I had to LOL when I got this:

Back to the drawing board, I guess.

I ran into a bunch of issues with this process as well. The standard update toolbox app from Mazda Canada wouldn't get past the "insert SD card" page. I tried on both Windows and Mac computers, too. Frustrating process!
