2026 CX-5 must read issues

Hello all, long post but please read. Recently purchased 2026 CX-5 2.5 S SE. Day 1 Telematics Malfunction after driving home, turning off car, then restarting. Yellow triangle dashboard light, SOS (Emergency Call Unit) function failure. Warning icons and messages went away, but 3 loud beeps every time I started car. Dealership had to disconnect battery, wait 15 minutes. Seemed to correct problem. About 2 hours later, now Network Malfunction. At some point, the remote app (MyMazda) functions don’t work. Dealer indicates this is a known problem and Mazda is working on fix but no date yet.

After the first, and 2nd battery disconnect, all seemed OK but when I inserted a type-c usb drive into type-c port inside center console to play music, which worked, malfunction errors occurred again after I turned off car and restarted.USB music is an icon in the apps section on infotainment display and Mazda chat support said these USB ports are to play music.

Has anyone who owns the 2026 CX-5 experienced any of these issues?

Yea they're known issues. I would wait for a fix from Mazda.

My wife's 2026 CX-5 went to the shop today due to screen problems and issues.

It seems to have a mind of its own. The dealership has an another 2026 CX-5 in the shop that's been there for three-weeks. They told her they were waiting for a fix from Mazda.

She did get a CX-50 as a loaner until fixed.

Looks like I’ll stick with my 2015 for a while longer, no issues at 167k miles except for normal wear and tear items.
