I asked the agency if they can do the swap, and they told me that it may cost an insane amount of $1600 in addition to $800 for the dashboard change so I just told them to forget about it.
if at least the resolution were much better, one might consider it but I have the impression, at least from my drive of 2020s prior to purchase, that it simply is a larger screen with the same poor resolutaion. 2.4 grand for a magnification factor of about 1.125.....Nah! Ill keep my bucks as well
I think mazda should have actually decreased the screen size. If they shrink the screen to a quarter of its current size, the resolution for the camera would be a lot better. I'm surprised they made it even larger for 2020. That's like watching VHS on a 100 inch TV. (Which would still be more clear than the current cameras)
