2007 Mazda 5 - 3rd row passenger exit belt

Hi, complete newbie here.
I bought a used 2006 Mazda 5, and one of the release belts located on the back of the second row seats is not working.

The belt is completely loose, not catching onto anything. I tried sticking my finger in that area to see if I can hook it back on, but can't quite figure it out.
If anyone has any info, that would be greatly appreciated. It's probably not a big enough problem to get professional help, but it's quite annoying!

Best bet is probably to remove the seat, IIRC the release cable is up inside the bottom of the seat. Not buried in the foam, but not easily accesable with the seat in the car. It may have broken the cable connection to the seat release up front. You should be able to source a replacement from OnlineMazdaParts.com HTH
